Chapter 1 / Understanding Inclusive Workplaces: What Makes a Safe and Supportive Job Environment / Mental Health, Neurodiversity, and Inclusion in the Workplace

Course Objective:

To help students recognize how mental health and neurodiversity shape workplace experiences, and to equip them with inclusive strategies that promote well-being, participation, and respectful collaboration.

Target Audience:

University students preparing for internships, group projects, or entering the workforce.

Level:

Introductory – no prior knowledge required.

  • Identify common challenges faced by neurodivergent individuals and those with mental health conditions in work settings.
